Children born to Bangladesh parents may be endorsed in the passport of their mother.

A maximum of four children below the age of 12 years, can be endorsed to their mother's passport. However, it is advisable that all children should have their separate passports.

If endorsement of child(ren) is requested, the applicant has to submit application in a prescribed form. Please note that a single fee ( US$ 44 for ordinary service or US$ 82.50 for urgent service) is charged for endorsement of any number (not exceeding 4) children.

The requirements are as follows:

1. Completed Application Form;
2. 2 (two) stamp size photographs of each of the children;
3. Prescribed Fees (see below) in one of the accepted methods of payment (see below);
4. Original Bangladesh passport of the parents. (both father and mother);
5. Photocopy of first seven pages of Bangladesh passport of parents;
6. Original birth certificate of the children; and .
7. Photocopy of birth certificate

This time schedule does not apply for services for which REFERENCE HAS TO BE MADE TO COMPETENT AUTHORITIES IN BANGLADESH.

Fees are payable to Consulate General of Bangladesh, New York. Please pay the exact amount in the form of a money order/bank draft/certified check. PERSONAL CHECK OR CASH ARE NOT ACCEPTED. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EVEN IF THE APPLICATION IS WITHDRAWN.
